About Me
I'm a fifth-year Mechanical Engineering undergraduate at the University of Tennessee–Knoxville, specializing in advanced automation and machine design. I have over two and a half years of professional experience translating complex R&D goals into functional mechanical and software solutions, most notably through my work at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. My background uniquely combines precision CAD/CAM fabrication with coding. I am proficient in SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion, and Python for photogrammetry and AI/ML application testing. My work has required strict attention to detail, including designing around the challenging constraints of radiological gloveboxes and hot cells. I am seeking a full-time role in Research & Development where I can continue to innovate at the intersection of mechanical design and automation. When I'm not designing, I enjoy giving back to the next generation of engineers by mentoring FIRST Robotics teams.
